Consultative selling is not about throwing out features and benefits to the first person willing to listen. What are the odds of a “hit” when you know nothing about his or her needs! This would be like going to a doctor and then getting a prescription without filling a questionnaire or discussing your issues with him or her. Consultative selling is quite the opposite, and is what we do at APCS:

  • We listen to the cladding or structural connections challenges that the designer or contractor is facing
  • We ask questions to clearly identify the issues as well as time, cost, performance or aesthetics limitations and preferences
  • We review our “arsenal” of products, systems and solutions, both standard and custom
  • We propose solutions that we believe will suit the project conditions and requirements

In addition to consultative selling, we also offer fee-based consulting services on subject matter where we have the expertise and contacts to offer great value and insight at highly competitive cost. Of course, our areas of expertise are in cladding systems and in structural connections, as these are our overall specialties that we work on all day, every day.
